Phlebotomy Tech/Lab Assistant

240 Clock Hour

Students will learn the art of drawing blood, blood testing and methods of specimen collection such as urinalysis and other body fluids for examination. Students will also learn medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, phlebotomy history, forms, tubes and data entry. They will also gain the ability to develop the skills necessary to promote laboratory safety (OSHA) and (HIPAA) compliance, as well as learn how to use and care for a microscope, centrifuge and other laboratory equipment. Also, students will become certified in First Aid and CPR.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school be fore enrollment. An application fee of not more than $25.00 may be retained by the school if the application is denied. All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if requested within three business days after signing a contract with the school. All refunds shall be returned within 30 days. Once the 3 business days have elapsed no refunds will be given.
